The Old Vic Pit Bar is proud to announce - Pit Sessions. In the tradition of The Old Vic we wanted to discover new talent and provide them with a platform. After weeks of auditioning we have finally chosen the best new musical talent to perform in the Pit Bar.
Every Friday after the performance of Six Degrees of Separation starting on 19th February and ending 26th March, two musical acts will play a selection of well known and new material.
The confirmed Pit Session acts are:

The La De Dah's
An all female a cappella, 1940's style, three part harmony group - with a twist!
Friday 19 February and Friday 19 March at 10:30pm - 12:30pm
Sam Palladio
Playing acoustic guitar with an Indy Folk/Rock feel and covering modern classics from James Taylor to Jack Johnson. Sam regularly plays at the Punch Bowl in Mayfair.

Gary Trainor
We are proud to introduce Gary an Old Vic New Voices 24 Hour Plays alumni. He brings a fantastic acoustic energy and originality to the Pit Sessions.

Ben Upson and Christopher Dingli
Having appeared in numerous festivals in Edinburgh and Malta we would like to welcome Ben's rocking rhythm guitar beat mixed in with Christopher's beautiful harmonies on the Viola.

Handshake
With energetic melodies and eloquent lyrics Handshake bridge gritty bluegrass with hard folk and rock.
Come enjoy the relaxed atmosphere; interact with theatre and arts patrons that frequent the Pit Bar; listen to the talented Pit Session musicians and have a drink or three! The Pit Bar is located below The Old Vic Theatre.
Opening Hours:
5pm - midnight Monday - Wednesday
5pm - 2am Thursday - Friday
Midday - 2am on Saturdays.
The Pit Bar will also be open from 12 noon on Wed & Thu matinee days, please see performance schedule for dates. (Bar snacks and sandwiches are available up to thirty minutes before the performance).
