The New Voices Club is a year-round professional development programme for actors, directors, writers and producers, aged 18-25, living in London. We also run a sister programme in New York, the New Voices Network, for 21 to 30 year old practitioners. Members must demonstrate an exceptional talent, a deep commitment to a career in theatre and a passion for peer collaboration.

The Club and Network offer support for members to realise projects that they are passionate about, and host a dynamic series of workshops, talks and networking events. The annual highlight is our T.S. Eliot US/UK Exchange - an expansion of our old Exchange program, that now offers 50 British and 50 American artists the chance to explore theatrical life on the opposite side of the Atlantic.

We announce opportunities through our partner website Ideas Tap Ideas Tap - a creative online network and funding body for emerging arts talent, bringing people together and offering cash funding, creative opportunities and a platform to showcase new work. Details of how to apply can be found by signing up to Ideas Tap and joining as an Associate Member of Old Vic New Voices. As a registered user of Ideas Tap you can create an online portfolio; join and initiate projects; and connect with other users from a range of creative organisations.

Full membership of the Club is only awarded to practitioners who achieve a place in the final company for the annual The 24 Hour Plays: New Voices. Full membership of the Network is by industry recommendation and participation in a Network event. Full members receive priority booking for Club and Network events and first refusal for creative opportunities.

Signing Up to Ideas Tap

1. When registering it is essential that use your real name when providing a username, and when completing the registration form can you select 'The Old Vic' in the 'Where did you hear about us?' box.

2. Once you are registered on Ideas Tap navigate to the 'Partners' page where you will be able to link to The Old Vic's Old Vic New Voices micro site.

3. Once you are on The Old Vic's Old Vic New Voices micro site you will see the OVNV Associate Members group on the right hand side of the page.

4. Enter the group and click the 'join group' icon on the right hand side of the page.
