Old Vic New Voices is The Old Vic’s Education, Community and Emerging Talent programme, which aims to nurture talent, inspire young people and open up The Old Vic to new and diverse audiences, working with around 8,000 people each year. The programme was founded in 2001 by Kate Pakenham, then an associate producer to Sally Greene, The Old Vic’s Chief Executive. Old Vic New Voices is headed by Associate Director Alexander Ferris.

In the past ten years we have staged five major community theatre productions, commissioned over sixty new plays, given over 15,000 free theatre tickets to young people and worked to ensure that our Theatre is accessed by people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures.
