Clarence Darrow

David W Rintels

‘A barnstorming tour de force that reinforces Spacey’s reputation as among the very finest not just of his generation but of all time.’ The Mail on Sunday

Kevin Spacey returns to The Old Vic stage in Clarence Darrow for a limited run of 6 weeks only following his sell-out and critically acclaimed run of 22 performances in 2014.

David W Rintels’ compelling one man drama is directed by award-winning director Thea Sharrock. The larger than life Darrow known for his legendary wit, relives some of his pivotal experiences, including the infamous Scopes ‘Monkey’ and ‘Thrill Killers’ trials, which established his reputation as a courtroom giant and civil rights hero.
