From Art to Artefact

Voices Off talks and debates

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ‘Art’ London premiere, a group of leading contemporary playwrights will come together to discuss the process of revival and how it feels to watch their work transition from ‘modern’ to ‘modern classic’.

Our speakers are Christopher Hampton, who translated Yasmina Reza’s ‘Art’, Lucy Prebble (The Effect, Enron), Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, This Is England, and the new version of Woyzeck at The Old Vic) and Timberlake Wertenbaker (Our Country’s Good). Observer theatre critic Susannah Clapp chairs.

This Voices Off talk will take place at approximately 9.15pm in auditorium, after the performance of ‘Art’. Tickets for that evening’s performance of ‘Art’ are available now, so you can also enjoy the production followed by the event.

Mon 13 Feb, approx. 9.15-10pm
