Alan Ayckbourn’s comic masterpieces, The Norman Conquests has transferred to the Circle in the Square Theater in New York following its successful London run at The Old Vic.
We are delighted to announce that The Norman Conquests received a Tony Award for The Best Revival of a Play and a further 6 nominations including: Best Direction of a Play for Matthew Warchus. Jessica Hynes and Amanda Root are both nominated for Featured Actress. Stephen Mangan and Paul Ritter are nominated for Featured Actor in a Play and Rob Howell has been nominated for his Scenic Design.
The 54th annual Drama Desk Award winners were announced on Sunday 17 May 2009 and The Norman Conquests won Best Revival and Best Director and also won an award for Best Ensemble Performance.
On Monday 20th April 2009 the 59th annual Outer Critics’ Circle Award nominations were announced and The Norman Conquests was not only nominated for Best Revival of a Play and Best Director of a Play (Matthew Warchus), but also won the Outstanding Ensemble Performance Award.
We are proud to announce The Norman Conquests received nominations for the following categories at the Drama League Awards 2009:
Distinguished Revival of a Play and
