Creating and Performing a Monologue
Welcome to our Creating and Performing a Monologue workshop. This workshop has been designed for GCSE and A Level students taking part in our Schools Club programme, but anyone with an interest in creative writing or performance is welcome to take part. This workshop was written by Creative Practitioner mezze eade and is delivered by our facilitators Flo and Louie.
Over the course of this workshop, you will explore what a monologue is, how to find a stimulus for your monologue and you’ll have the opportunity to try writing and performing your own. This workshop can be completed on your own at home or in a classroom setting.
This workshop is broken down into sections so you can complete it in your own time and at your own pace. Flo and Louie have created a short video introduction to each section, after which you will find a creative exercise for you to try. You’ll need a pen and paper or a computer to make notes as you go. If you get stuck and need any assistance you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Remember, this workshop isn’t about getting things right, it’s about your artistic ideas. Good luck and have fun.Sign up to our schools mailing list
