Front Line Facilitators
Front Line at The Old Vic is excited to be running our first ever Creative Practitioner Training Programme for young people aged 18-25.
The 10-week programme will offer advanced hands-on experience in creative facilitation, allowing participants to develop key transferable skills as they prepare to lead their own workshops at the end of the programme.
Skills-building training will be interspersed with a series of sessions with The Old Vic Education and Community Team and guest creative practitioners to expose participants to a range of styles and techniques as well as supporting them in the development of their own style and practice.
Areas of training will include:
• Communication and presentation
• Practical facilitation skills
• Writing and creating workshop plans
• Behaviour Management
• CV and Interview skills
Participants will also observe at least one Old Vic Education schools workshop, connect with an Old Vic mentor, and watch an Old Vic production.
This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to explore the world of creative facilitation, as well as learn a variety of transferable skills. Participants may have some experience of facilitation or an interest in the field but this is not essential. We are looking for people who are friendly and looking to try new things. We particularly welcome applications from anyone not in education, employment or training.
Applications for Front Line Facilitators are now closed, please keep checking our other opportunities for young people here.
