Front Line Facilitators
Our highly successful creative practitioner programme is for young people aged 18 – 25 and offers advanced hands-on experience in creative facilitation. During the course you’ll experience skills-building training interspersed with sessions with The Old Vic Education and Community Team and guest creative practitioners to expose you to a range of styles and techniques. At the end of the course you will be fully prepared to lead your own workshop.
Areas of training will include:
• Communication and presentation
• Practical facilitation skills
• Writing and creating workshop plans
• Behaviour Management
• CV and Interview skills
You will also observe at least one Old Vic Education and Community workshop, connect with an Old Vic mentor, and watch an Old Vic production.
This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to explore the world of creative facilitation, as well as learn a variety of transferable skills. You may have some experience of facilitation or an interest in the field but this is not essential. We are looking for people who are friendly and looking to try new things. We particularly welcome applications from anyone not in education, employment or training.
Applications for Front Line Facilitators will open later this year, please keep checking this page for further information.
