THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT LUNGS

null

IT BEGINS IN IKEA

The play follows a couple and their life decisions. From one meaningful conversation near a Billy bookcase, you see their relationship grow and develop over a number of years.

THIS LITTLE PLAY WILL MAKE YOU THINK BIG

This concise play which focusses on one man and one woman will leave you questioning the legacy of the human race, the effects of our actions and the choices we make.

IT’S A TEARJERKER

It’s emotional and romantic. It’s also a laugh-out-loud, unflinchingly honest insight into navigating life’s biggest decisions.

IT’S WRITTEN BY DUNCAN MACMILLAN

A hugely successful and brilliant writer whose other plays include People, Places and Things and Every Brilliant Thing.

A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE

The Old Vic seating will be transformed to reflect the intimacy of the story and create a ‘close up’ setting. Audience members will surround the performers with a number of seats on the stage.

A CAST OF TWO PEOPLE

They appear together on stage for the entire performance. In this production the performers are Claire Foy and Matt Smith.

IT’S A BIG STORY…

…in a tiny package. A tequila shot of theatre.

IT’S ABOUT…

…amateurs, our universal inadequacy, and our hapless attempts to get things right. It’s about couples and individuals. And me. And you.
