Your Old Vic – what's happening this week

Keep up to date with #YourOldVic, our way of keeping connected to our audiences – even when our building is closed – and set a reminder for everything that’s happening this week.

Join award-winning playwright Ella Hickson for Creatives’ Corner as she takes over our Instagram each week for a series of live discussions. In a series of six, the first conversation will be with playwright and Old Vic 12 alumni Charlotte Josephine at 3pm on Wednesday 20 May, and will be followed by a weekly writer’s prompt from Ella to help overcome the mid-week slump.

Thu 21 May, 12pm

The second of our archive monologues from 2018’s The Greatest Wealth will be released at 12pm on our YouTube channel. Written by Paul Unwin, At The Point of Need explores the NHS during the 1950s and is performed by David Threlfall. Curated by Lolita Chakrabarti and directed by Adrian Lester.

Revisit Jack Thorne’s Boo, the first in the series, performed by Sophie Stone.
