Working with Schools

We seek to support young people to reach their potential whether they choose to pursue a career in this industry or another. Wherever we can, we want to impact on their employability potential and wellbeing, offering educational opportunities, encouragement and support towards those from low-income backgrounds. We do this through our education and outreach programmes.

Over the past eight years, Schools Club has worked with 40 secondary schools, benefiting more than 1,000 people aged between 14 and 18 each year. Through bespoke workshops and free tickets for four productions per year, as well as resource packs, lesson plans and backstage tours, we promote cultural understanding, creativity and self confidence. In 2016, we extended this programme to include younger children from our local boroughs by launching Primary Schools Club, which now benefits 30 classes each year.
