The Philadelphia Story

Rich, haughty and spoilt, Tracy Lord is about to get married for the second time. But shes reckoned without the reporter sent to cover the wedding and her quick-thinking, free-drinking first husband. The presence of both men at her pre-nuptial party, the collision of the trios volatile emotions, combined with a drunken midnight swim, provokes Tracy into learning some painful lessons, and taking an uncharacteristic look into heart.

Glamorous and sophisticated, The Philadelphia Story is a compelling mix of wit, satire and romance. It was first performed on Broadway in 1939, and became one of the great movies of Hollywoods golden age.
