Rise: Macro vs Micro is a series of performances and installations inspired by issues around climate change and the environment, taking place at The Old Vic Workrooms in Bermondsey.

The performances have been created by our community writers on attachment who have been working with BAFTA nominated writer, Kenny Emson, and directors Joe Hancock and Rachel Briscoe and will feature performances from members of The Old Vic Community Company.

The event will conclude with a chaired debate in the main space exploring the idea of Macro vs Micro: What difference can we make at a local level and when do we need to act big?

The Community Writers include:
Elijah Marrs Mariam
Joyce Abosi
Colin Williams
Jazwinder Blackwell-Pal
James Rushbrooke
Kam Sandhu

Please note that this is a promenade performance and audiences will be moving on foot and standing throughout. The performance is wheelchair accessible. If you have any concerns about access please email us on community@oldvictheatre.com
