It is with great sadness that we are temporarily closing The Old Vic in line with the latest government advice on Coronavirus (COVID-19) and postponing our production of Amy Herzog’s 4000 Miles .
We are still working hard to reschedule 4000 Miles and, whilst there is no confirmed date for the run, it won’t play before Summer 2022. It is still very much our desire to bring this production to our stage. Your booking is safe and you do not need to take any action.
We want to thank you for your patience.
As we are aiming to reschedule the production rather than cancelling it, your tickets are still valid and we would ask that you hold onto these until we’re able to confirm the rescheduled dates.
We will endeavour to move all ticket holders to a performance that corresponds with their original booking in regards to ticket price band and performance day and time. For example, if you booked a £55 ticket for a Wednesday matinee performance, this will be reflected in your rescheduled ticket. If you booked for the first performance with a PwC £10 Previews ticket, your rescheduled booking will reflect this.
Once we have confirmed the details of the rescheduled performances, ticket holders can contact us to discuss alternative options if they are unable to attend any of the new performance dates.

‘It was to finish something I started. Micah and I started something. I finished it. That’s it. People want to make it really complicated but it’s not’
At the beginning of the summer 21-year-old Leo set out from the West Coast cycling across America with his best friend. After weeks of radio silence, no one is more surprised than his 91-year-old grandmother, Vera, when Leo turns up on her Manhattan doorstep in the middle of the night.
His life just starting, hers nearly ended, in a faded Greenwich Village apartment their griefs collide.
