Name a Barn Door for Backstage

Help us raise vital funds for Backstage by naming a barn door.

Whilst Backstage marks an exciting new chapter in The Old Vic’s story, the front of the building will be decorated with 176 repurposed theatre lighting devices known as ‘Barn Doors’ as a tribute to the theatre’s heritage.

Sustainability has formed an integral part of the Backstage building’s design and barn doors have been kindly donated by many theatres and suppliers.

Your support will be a lasting tribute towards this transformative new space.

Barn doors are available to name from £400 and we have 96 large and 80 small barn doors available for naming*:

£400 – Small barn door
£1,000 – Large barn door

For more information, please contact the team at backstagecampaign@oldvictheatre.com

*Barn doors themselves will not be engraved due to their position on the façade of the building. Your inscription of your barn door will instead be included on a dedicated plaque within the Backstage building. Read our Terms & Conditions.
