Leave a Legacy at The Old Vic. Share the magic of theatre with generations to come.

For over 200 years, The Old Vic has stood as one of the UK’s most iconic theatres — an independent, creative powerhouse known for artistic daring and social impact.

The opening of our new Backstage building in autumn 2025 is enabling us to further expand our groundbreaking employability and education programmes, that support local communities, schools and emerging creative practitioners. Built alongside our historic Grade II listed theatre, Backstage is a space shaped by people, open to all, built for creativity and rooted in community.

By leaving a gift in your Will you will help secure The Old Vic’s future as a world-class theatre with a social mission. No matter the size, your gift will have a lasting impact, resonating through every aspect of our artistic, community and education work.

If you have already included The Old Vic in your Will, or are considering doing so, we would be truly grateful to hear from you. Sharing your intentions with us helps us plan for the future, gives us opportunity to thank you personally and ensures we can honour your gift in a meaningful way. Any information you choose to share will be treated with the strictest confidence, and you are under no obligation to tell us your decision.
